The Official Guide To Music.

Concept: I wanted to create the most awesome-est music inspired tee out there, and I have always had the idea floating around of doing something with all the genres in a typographical style.

Application: Painfully designed each genre logo by pencil and then by fine pen and then scanned in bit by bit and assembled the final image around a clef shape to create the negative imagery. This was an idea that I was like “why the fuck am I doing this?” half way through but I love the outcome so it was all worth it.

Concept: To be ridiculously retro. To look ridiculously retro. To cram as much retrospective doodle into one image as I can.

Concept: Was a random idea I had that has been re-illustrated recently. Thought about sunglasses,  but I love the way the eyes stare.

Application: Illustration with pencil, scanned and coloured in Photoshop.

Concept: Got the idea whilst watching the movie; THIN RED LINE a while back, where the silhouette imagery popped into my head. I tried to work out if I’d seen it somewhere else before but I couldn’t remember – but I am sure this has been done in some way before. My visual idea was to ink and blotch it out in a noir style.

Application: Drew the bomb silhouettes digitally (man was drawn) then printed it out sticky taped the ink to get grunge and splattered ink/ touched up edges to give it a more free flowing feel.
